Sweet!
« on: June 30, 2011, 12:22:02 PM »
Nice to see a forum that is run for the members. Dreams of internet radio and tv channels are good, profit is not a four letter word and ego makes the world go round, but they are individual motivations rather than community builders.

I've been taking a break from screen printing as a commercial focus. I have been working with vacuum bagged carbon fiber laminates. But while I was building prototype hydrofoil boards I found I couldn't leave screen printing behind entirely. It's a small market, but I have enjoyed printing a series of shirts for the hydrofoiling community. It has been fun and I have made a few bucks. Great group of people. I send out shirts prior to payment and I have had absolutely no dead beats. I'm still surprised. Met some watersports equipment manufacturers and now it looks like I will be printing for them too. Just when you think you have escaped... printing sucks you back in!

Thank you to all who have helped create a more positive forum experience. I look forward to participating.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Hey buddy.
People might not know that you are actually a big part of my inspiration as back in '04 when I was first introduced to TSPMB, you were one of the first to generously help me.
At the time, I was starting over after a fire, and needed help with an old American Phoenix Dryer (similar to what Pierre is running, I think)
The rest is history, and my wife hates you and everyone else who populated my new found resource, and time sucker...the boards!
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
