Intro to automation class from Atlas Supply
« on: April 09, 2013, 09:21:45 PM »
Has anyone taken the into to automation class Atlas Supply offers? It is at Shokwaves outside of Chicago. My wife an I are heading out to CA this weekend and have a layover in Chicago,  I changed my departure time out of Chicago to check it out.  Just wondering if anyone had taken the class before and if it was any good. This last year with the help of this forum,  I have had a real interest in how other places "do it". Kind of opens my eyes to how backasswords we do some things!

I bet you a bunch of members would open their door to you so you could spend time. I know my door is always open to anyone that wants to visit and see how we do things. Real world. Maybe not the best way, though. Visit some other shops, see how more than one place does the same tasks.  Just the way I feel about it.

I kinda figured that, I just don't always get out of town that much. With the openness on the boards here, I definitely plan on inquiring if anyone has a shop where I might be if I out of town.

I didn't realize that! I will have to set up a time with you FOR SURE! The 4 hr drive on that particular route is KILLER, unless you are able to pick out the uniqueness of corn fields!  :P

What cornfields?  They haven't been planted yet.  ;)  If you do make that 4 hr drive, stay off the tollway, it will cost you a small fortune to drive it.
