Come again? What do you call these caps?

Wow our distributer got new Otto Caps
They go by the rather short name of "Polyester Foam Front Flat Visor High Crown Golf Style Mesh Back Caps" on their website.

Otto's website is a labyrinth of names exactly like that.

Interestingly, when the same cap has a piece of string between the crown and the bill, it was known as a golf cap.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

40 some years ago they were called CAT hats.  Yellow foam mesh with the CAT patch sewn on the front. And only the most senior operators got them.

Then they came out with corduroy and the braid.... those were special ::) did lots of these lovely hats :o
