Great Moments in Baseball 2
« on: June 25, 2011, 01:06:31 PM »
One of my favorites, Dave Kingman, whom I had the pleasure of meeting back in the '80's, was recently the featured guest at a Minor league Stockton Ports game.
It brought to mind this R-Rated rant by my beloved Dodger ex-manager Tommy Lasorda. A true classic.

This clip does illustrate Tommy's rather limited vocabulary which may offend some. Listen at your own risk.

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

I saw him thrown out of a spring training game years ago at the Astros training field in Kissimmee for getting in the umpire's face.
Work is the curse of the drinking class . . .
