This may be really boring for anyone to look at. But i love looking at photos of other people shops and how they do things. Anyways, i took some photos as we knocked down walls and stuff. Again, not much to look at but if your bored and tired of porn, it's something to look at

We're kind of ahead of schedule, but a plumber is coming tomorrow and might be giving us bad news. We'll see.

i like the copper airline - i would suggest putting ball valves before the unions though.
i learned to solder copper from my stepdad - i had to call him a few times to get suggestions. he finally asked what diameter i was soldering. when i said 1" he recommended MAPP gas instead of propane. made a world of difference

Thanks for the encouragement guys!
The shop was actually an old racecar rental shop (don't ask me) so they had copper airlines all over the shop which was awesome. I watched some YouTube videos and figured out how to solder that stuff. I'm using the map gas or whatever it's called.
I just needed to put in 2 lines. 1 for the presses and another for the reclaim booth.
It's a shitty looking solder job but it doesn't leak. That's all I care about
Tonight I finished up the gas lines. I just needed to tap into the existing 1 1/4 pipe. I ran a little 3/4 stub down with a shutoff.
This way when we move the dryer in the hard part is done already. Pretty happy about that.
Had a sewer scope today. Looks like we can put our reclaim booth where we want. The roof drains go into the sewer and not the river so were golden! I was worried we would have to cut the concrete and run a line all the way down to the main drain. That would have been a costly nightmare!
We taped the floors tonight marking where the screen room will go. Should start the build set one next week.
Ill keep you all posted!

Did your building inspector approve of the Dip Galvanized steel tee and reducers attached to black iron pipe. ?? I grew up in the hardware business and was always told that the galvanized will flake and clog the burner orifice.

Last comment might be worth checking out.
Best way I learned to solder copper is to have the fitting horizontal (if possible) and hit it with the torch
from below aiming upward, then touch the solder to the top. Clean joints, and I'm typically not capable
of doing anything remotely clean.
Nice looking place Jaime. Looks like we'll be making a move in a couple months as well.

Very nice looking job you guys are doing, but I would really check those gas lines any type leak there and your in trouble, I use to put in gas lines and before we ran any gas we would air test for leaks, water test and soap all joints.....big space I'm jealous.

Ok guys, I took your advice and redid the gasline. I strained my elbow pretty bad doing it, so it's a Ben gay night for me tonight.
Finished up the water lines for the washout booth today. Met with my friend who build the life size loop d loop for hot wheels. He's gonna help me build the needed walls and screen room. The size of the screen room has grown to 18x20. We have the tri light, may be getting cts and auto coater In the future. Not to mention a bunch more frames. So better to be to big than to small. We have the space now
Picked up a bigger washout booth from the Ryonet garage sale today.
So well have development booth and a reclaim booth.
Lined up the moving crew and had the bearings replaced on our sprint dryer lastnight.
Busy busy busy!
More pics to come when I have something interesting to show.
Brandon, well have you guys down once we get up and running!

Sorry to cause you all the extra work, but better now than the day you wanted to fire it up and the inspector shut you down. Looks good. I love the nice big space.
