Nice 8 color sim process sep example.
« on: March 06, 2013, 11:47:51 PM »
Nice 8 color sim process I did last week or so.

230 base and 305 top colors. 55lpi halftone at 22.5 degree screen angle. Pretty much my standard. A green was not used but I'm told came out fantastic and a very bright green. Never got a complete pic of the end result.  Click to see the animation.

It's interesting that even on screen, the yellow and blue laying over top each other in the gif animation create that very good green. No faking it on m end to help it look like that. Thats pretty accurate to how it printed from what I did see.

Looking at the phone booth. Is that 75% white under 100% yellow under 100% red? CAKE?... bullet proof? Just asking.

Ha.  No, not at all.  It's really to be an orangish red in print. It's not 100% of either.

Sam,  send me a sep job and you can see it first hand. ;)
Kidding. I asked for a pic of the final several times. I got a snippet shot when they were working our ink issues but that's not the good pic.  If I get one, I'll post it.

I'm looking for an actual shirt sample if the Job that Scott from Myseps and myself did together. He did some and I did some of it. Should be here in the mail any day. I'll post pics of that also.

SBrem, thank you sir, your always a gentleman in your post.

Dan...I know your seps rock...heck we have posted a few of them...it is always neat seeing the artwork vs. the shirt...sometimes you get great results sometimes you get decent results...

I would recommend Dan for seps though...

Cool! I love the animated .gif...
I see you have process black on a black garment.
I do it all of the time to control colors and keep it from looking like "holes" where there are to be large black areas.
Some people give me crap for doing it...whaaaaatever.
Looks good.
