We had to work with very marginal photos so you can only polish a turd so much.

Hahaha. We get a lot of files like that here. Some are just impossible.

We just did a run of 6 different photos - Can't post unfortunately (Brandon has seen one) - one was 50 dpi @ 11 inches wide and you could see the boxes from being saved as a j-peg to many times....  Customer was aware :)  The rest were standard lower resolution j-pegs.

They looked like decent turds when we were all done with them.

Simple discharge and HSA on triblends. Gray Discharge (can't tell in photo), black water base, white HSA, quick flash and the yellow HSA. The shirt is way better in person. And so thin I could not imagine printing plastisol on these.
What brand of HSA do you use?

Permaset SuperCover line. Great inks but hard to get in the States. We will see what happens
Oh, we used to use Permaset Supercover back in 2007. Great inks, even harder to get here though.

I haven't seen any or many getting results like this.
We keep hearing about the necessity to use extreme high tension on retentionable frames to get the detail Serj gets.
Serj what tension are your screens?
Tension screenns 25 N

Very Nicely done Danny!

How many times did you need to go back for re-seps? 65+lpi?

Brandon:  Wish we had more call for water base man - You're killin it as always!

Thanks Colin, the piano design is 65 lpi.... We never went back on original seps for this one

The sammie dog print is 55 lpi and I went back once on the sep to get closer to their original photo

Two part transfer over / around pocket.  The top paw goes around the hem of the pocket, and the dogs body goes on the inside (not full body)

Sim Process, Push Through, Plastisol On Custom Blank, Discharge, Brick Transfer (3D on Hat), Direct Embroidery on Custom Headwear

Pizza Box, we've done over 100 designs that all have rad art.

Sim Process

Simple one, but I like the product shot how it looks like a custom ink mockup.

Fun discharge print.

Basically we have a very broad spectrum of clients and needs, so it makes it fun to get to do such a diverse range.  See more @oregonscreen on instagram, where we update the most.

We do most of the Sizzle Pie stuff, they are friends of ours so we do tons of pizza box designs, their apparel, but they also have unique items we don't do.

Pocket print is a cad cut transfer that was done in two parts, the front paw is separate piece and I laid it on, transferred it, rolled the overhanging portion around the pocket, and pressed it again, to get a clean full wrap around the pocket.  Have to do some wash tests after I get the other prints on the garment, but it is a pretty fun one.

yeah that looks great, especially for on cc and in 5 colors.  You probably are using a poly white or even a blocker grey ub for those?

Nope just IC legacy white double stroked through 230s-mesh, 305s-mesh for top colors. Done on a 6color diamondback.

Really nice job considering the color count on this! You guys do the seps in-house?

Sure did. Started in sep-studio, then into PS for tweaking and color adjustments.

I don't understand why you would have to still use PS after using another separation program that works outside of PS.    Why would you have to "tweak" and make "color adjustments" in another program after using a dedicated color-separation program?   Also, you realize you can get the separations directly in photoshop using defaults right?   So if you are using photoshop anyway, why are you using this other program to generate the color separations which can easily be done directly in photoshop and more accurately with the selective-color tool?    Just make your seps right in photoshop, or go with a more professional separation solution.    Does the program you're using even generate the halftones or leave it up to you or another program you have to buy??
