Chris Ulrich was recently promoted to business development manager at Transfer Express, a manufacturer of custom, heat-applied screen-printed and digital transfers. Ulrich, who has been with the company for more than 20 years, was formerly the dealer services manager.
His first goal in his new position is to build strong dealer relationships with current accounts and help them find new opportunities to grow their businesses. He also will be working on developing new business partnerships and gaining a better understanding of customers’ businesses to provide them with solutions for all their heat printing needs.
What he likes best about his years in the industry is that there is always something new to learn. He loves his co-workers and feels fortunate to have worked at the same company since graduating college.
Ulrich was added to the Transfer Express M. Mark Weaver Memorial Hall of Fame in 1997 for his outstanding teamwork contributions. He played men’s varsity basketball team all four years in college and was co-captain his senior year.
He remains active in basketball as the assistant coach of the men’s basketball team at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio. He lives in Mentor with his wife and two children. He will report to Sean Oakley, general manager.
