Einstein: "The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources."

We all gather inspiration from somewhere. I think taking an idea or visual element and improving on it through your own creativity would be far more desirable than taking credit for a cut and paste of others' work.
Hell I just cut and pasted a quote from the internet, but I didn't represent it as my own.
Look at the inspiration piece and ask yourself "what makes this work"?
What do I like about it and why.
What could I do that may make it better.
Wesdeselms obviously has some decent editing skills, I just think they could be put to better use.

There is no good feeling that comes from representing others work as your own...you may fool some people but you will always know the truth.

Now I will get off of my soapbox and go back to tracing other peoples' photos of cars.
