Don't try oasis discharge agent in CCI discharge!

Ordered some discharge agent, was sent oasis agent. Finally ran out of the Matsui agent that we have been using today and mixed a new batch of discharge and dis white using the oasis agent. It don't work! It does discharge a little but it looks like you printed discharge white on a royal blue shirt, if anyone has done that, they no the outcome, washed out, almost 50/50 with discharge looking. Gonna try and return that and stick with the Matsui agent. Matsui agent with the CCI base and CCI white, I can use 5% agent in the mixes and have full brilliant non stick wet on wet prints, the oasis must be a different formula just for the oasis discharge inks. Must have been left over stock being pushed.

Was the oasis agent the "non-formaldehyde"?

The Oasis comes in two versions, regular and non-formaldehyde or NF.

I'd assume you got the NF.

Though, big mistake on the shipper's part, as that stuff isn't even supposed to be shipped unless
by truck.

ZFS and NFS. . . You need ZFS for standard DC.

NFS is supposed to be the friendlier version.

I would suggest a quart of the CCI agent. I used matsu for a while but CCI is under 25.00 a quart. I was paying way more than that for matsui.

Just got a gallon of the IT discharge agent (speak of the debbil) for ~$35.
Not sure if that was an error on the suppliers part....

Not particularly fond of IT's white, too thin for my liking. But discharge agent is discharge agent,
or at least it should be.

The CCI agent also does not smell as bad. I am sure it just has smell added. The way I look at it if your going to die from a chemical they can at least make it smell good.

It's an acquired smell, but comes with a limit.  Just one good whiff, lol.

Ill check in the morn which type it is. I questionef them when they sent it and their response was, activator is activator. Eell,no, iit's not lol

Wow mine came by FedEx via aeroplane from the UK. No issues at all regarding shipping. Shipped directly from MagnaColours HQ.
