Do you remember these guys.....
« on: January 23, 2013, 12:11:51 PM »
...... I want to buy 1000 white t-shirts in sizes........

I always love laughing on those emails, but today I got to laugh listening to them.

Yes, listening. They called in with the same story and TERRIBLE accent.

They started talking and my response was:

Bwahahahh, you guys are funny. Bye

Phone number is:

Weird--many years ago they would use teletype or relay phone services.  Must be hard times for scammers if they have to risk using their own voices...

954-380-4719
Country: USA
Location: Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood)

I'm guessing it is a Magic Jack number that is now somewhere overseas. Very strong "Jamaican" accent

Last week I got the call wanting T-shirts for his church in Tampa (I'm in Florida).  I ask him what the zip code was in Tampa.  After yelling at me for asking him so many questions he hung up.

Hey dsh,

Nice store front.  Nice building. I'm sitting on a corner pretty much like yours here in St. Cloud Fl.

You've got about 3 times as much window display than me tho.  I like the looks of that town.

we get 1 guy email us every month, Rodney Pinder. My wife got on the horn with him once, she said, sure we will fill your order, just come on by with your card and ID, he cussed her out and she just laughed at him. Then she said, well sir you can enter our dance contest that we are having at close of business today, if you win you will get that order for free, you just have to be here in person, kept cussing her out, they are crazy. I wonder how many people have been duped by these guys and actually take the cc# they try to give them for the blank t-shirt order.  He doesn't do a good job with the BCC I can see the whole string of shops he sends these too.

Here is the latest fake order from this Chode

From:    Rodney Pinder <rodney.pinder@yahoo.com>
   Subject:    Urgent Request......
   Date:    Dec 25, 2012 10:39:07 PM EDT

I Want to make a special order of T-shirts:  Below is what am looking on the T-shirts:

Tee Shirts blank
Brand:   Gildan

Color  :  Blue or Brown
               : 50/50 % Cotton
Qtys  :  700

Let me know the total cost without shipping..
Thank you

Yeah, I got back from lunch one day and my wife's assistant says "Some guy called and wants a quote on 500 shirts... I got kind of excited and the she said "yeah, he just needs blank...."  I cut her off and explained that it was a scam.

Been meaning to mention that we had it on the phone as well as emails but always forgot.

Thick accent as well.

Because we do a lot of University work with the Student Programs we actually do get a lot of orders for plain whites so they can Tie Dye them. Nice tidy profit for doing next to nothing.

Same here. I actually sold the presses as this has taken over the printing aspect of my business.
