Oldie but a goodie.
« on: January 15, 2013, 02:41:33 PM »
Digging around saving my bass fish files, I came across this one I did a few years ago. I was just reading or really looking at some fishing mags and saw this same Salmon fish species in an article.

I remember this customer or "potential customer" that I did this for was pretty sassy in saying that it was not a real salmon and didn't want it.  Knocking me for my art skills.  ::)   really? So, what it came down to was her not wanting to pay what I wanted. I think it was $100.00 or so at the time. Wish she'd of just said that, but anyways. I got some more stock art out of it. :) She must have wanted some clip art thing. maybe she wanted a trout?

I think she thought the salmon had puppy eyes but did not want to offend you!

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

It's both. Apparently they are one in the same. Just some areas call them one or the other chinook or King salmon.

They have different colors and shapes depending on age and spawning seasons.
