« on: June 15, 2011, 10:57:09 AM »

Here's another listing from Calibrated, a member here.

Both of these include a thermometer, but the probe and wires are a standard K fitting that will fit many thermometers. The probe is available by itself also.

As for melting, the probe and it's wire is heat proof. The thermometer is fifteen or more feet away from the probe.

How do you run a probe through a conveyor dryer? Longer wires?

50% of the time I'm 100% right.

The stock unit ships with a fifteen foot wire, with longer wires available.

I paid $127 for the Atkins donut probe with a 15 ft. long wire and another $120 for a no frills Atkins thermometer.

Mind tellin' us where? I haven't seen the probes along for less than $200.

A search on M&R may produce a post of mine with a price similar to that and a source. I can't find it as a bookmark.

shellyky, that looks about identical to what I have. Give me a few minutes and I'll go see if I can dig out the info on where I purchased from.

Yes, you can cook a pizza in it.
