I cut up old wooden screens and use them for camping fire wood.

I have about 20 boxes in stored in my out building.

I read a thread somewhere and someone took their old wooden frames, and framed some nice screenprinted t-shirts inside, and had them hanging  on the wall in their office.  Sounds like a good idea, I have some that I plan to use for that.

When I look at the pictures, all I can think about is the amount of space wasted (lost) the is UNDER your tables. If you turned the frames so the open side if facing you, it would create open boxes or shelf space to store things. All you really need to do in order to make it sturdy is get a big bottle of wood working glue and lay bead between them as you stack them up..a little clamping action overnight.....and presto...wood cabinets under your tables.

As strange as it sounds, the frames glued together make a great “butcher block” starter, the laminated wood is often poplar or other useable wood (pine is not that common) and it is quite attractive when uniformed on a planer stained and oiled.

When used for firewood the chemicals make pretty color flames, but I would not cook a hotdog on that fire.

The majority of those still have mesh & images on them. I'll pull them out when the 90s are "vintage"

Right before I moved back here to Hawaii, I had a beach party down at San Onofre. The bon fire was very colorful to say the least. I had a 1971 VW panel van loaded to the hilt with screens I had spent the whole day busting up for the fire...
