mouse pad printing
« on: January 17, 2013, 02:03:15 PM »
I have a customer asking for mousepad printing ( few thousand) . They are blue and need a 1 colour print . I've never done any should I just leave it to a mouse pad guy or give it a try.
Has anyone printed these and how did you do it, or will you ever do it again. I'm assuming they are the thin neoprene type.
Any help would be helpful. Thanks

They're easy to print, I've printed some for ourselves, but not with the correct ink...I 'm thinking you need a waterbase ink.   Printing is not the problem, but getting a good price on the blanks, its allmost best to add a few cents and let the ad market guys print them once you compare the blank price to there printed price.

When our shop first opened, we only worked at night (full time day jobs) and had one customer who sent us 1000 or so a week. 110S mesh, bleed resistant white (the top is 100% polyester). You don't want the ink too thick, it interferes with the mouse tracking. Prepare for the hot rubber smell in the air...
