Ahh, I would presume then that Sericol has these additives covered in their base ink seeing as the Texcharge system only has one additive- retarder - and while I have a gallon on hand I have yet to crack it open.

So I just heard from a little birdie that the batches of ink from CCI that we recieved have already been upgraded. Or are about to. They will have a "fixer" and "extender" already in the ink. Supposedly no more need for them.

I thought I heard that your inks will thicken or dry up faster after you add in the Fixer. I thought that was why they sell them to be added when mixing your colors? Am I wrong on this.

I'd imagine in the case of retarder, they leave it out due to curing issues with folks using less than ideal dryers.

These parts it's a must in the summer.

I was checking the pigment list for CCI and do not see them offering florescent colors. I am currently using the Rutland WB system which does have the florescent colors. Has this been an issue for any of you CCI users?

Try Sericols flouros, the green is badass right out of the bucket.  I'm sure you can replicate it with pcs on any other system but no matter where we end up I'll probably stick with the Texcharge flouros.

eb, that makes sense to me.  The standard base is set to ensure a cure in sub-par drying situations and the retarded can be added back as you able to.  I know Rutland addresses this by offering two bases.

Currently there is no substitute for the Sericol Flos. The Pcs offered elsewhere have a nasty habit of settling and just don't cut it with regards to vividness (if thats a word)
