I read something on the forum a few weeks ago that said TSB would be nothing in a few years and spof and Johnny's new site would be the forums to be at.  But you have to consider the source it came from, he was the one telling everyone that spof was going to be the biggest and best forum to be at and now look at it.  He also said this site would not grow because it's not "open" to everyone but look at which forums are popular and which ones are dead...that should tell the truth.

I wouldn't give a damn other than the stupid remarks I hear ignorant people saying about this forum.  That guy tried to make it sound like it's set up like the freemasons and only a "select, special" few can join in on this forum...which we all know is not even remotely close to the truth.  There has been one guy not allowed to participate on this forum, that I know of, and we've all seen the damage he does to other forums, but that guy won't let it be.  After all that's played out, after the crash and burn of his forum, the fire sale and what we see now, he still thinks he was right and everyone that didn't want a shady guy in the forum was wrong.  He, among others claim how smart the guy is but I personally don't see how someone can do what he's done, say what he's said and still be considered a smart guy.   There is simply too much evidence to the contrary.  And I LOVE talking about this stuff if you can't tell.

To be factual, we have banned more than seventy five one hundred and fifty spammers and four troublemakers. We have absolutely no compunction against banning anyone who either intentionally disrupts the place, or can't accept the basic tenet upon which this place was founded.

I reference our policy as stated at our humble beginning. Unlike some others, we have not strayed.

Any forum is only as good as the rules the members are held to.

Kudo's to those who do the "holding to the rules" here!

Well according to the supreme screen printing forum master P this place is only for chit chatting exact quote and no real screen printing info actually happening here lol.

Regardless this forum will still be here I am sure this time next year but will the other?

He always acted like the smartest guy in the room but I never seen anything that actually backed that up though.  Other than that couldn't care less about him or how his or who ever's forum it is now.

one of my clearest memories of the SPOF, the first forum i joined as a screen printer, was getting "Re-educated" much like my parochial  knuckle wacking education on what seemed to be a regular basis.

To that extent i felt it was pretty ironic that the forum title was SP OPEN F given the evolution there.
Please understand that I do not offer this to take a swing at one person,  the SPOF was a pretty cool place until there was a ripple emanating in the force.

This new place basically is a coalescence of the best parts of the SPOF and all the gravitational awareness a true open forum has to offer.
may the force keep it that way...please

It's amazing that one or two people can actually make a forum feel pretty "closed".
