oK.. Dot Tone Dan has personally invited me to spend more time here on the the shirt board versus another site where I slink an d lurk looking for work.. Any of you that were ever on Fressners board surely recognize the dlac.. David LaCrosse, I spend from 1989 to 2001 building LaCrosse Graphics up from the old Mango Tree Screen Printing in Ft Pierce Florida.. We were early on with doing our own garment dyeing (in house) and printing resort designs that sold really well on them.. 1.9 million well by 1998.. and then me with my head up my butt so far that I was looking out of my belly button (in 1996) bought the screen print division of LAT sportswear.. set up shop in Blue Ridge GA and then the ultimate was a purchase of Whitewater Textile in Ducktown Tn.. 21,500 sq feet of sewing.. All of a sudden I was playing in the NFL with basically a high school team.. NOT GOOD.. I was sewing and printing for big guys that called me one day and said...Hey David I can buy those shirts for $12.00 a dozen, while it was costing me 16.00 to buy enough fabric to make that dozen shirts.. Now I live in a small coal mining town in Southern Illinois, I sell a few local shirts and do a fair amount of online art for printers that don't have their own artist or who are looking for a new look.. see some of my past stuff at www.art4tees.com.. I am not the best, not the worst, but price is right and I have a lot of free advice to give along the way..

So, David, do I put you down for abandoning me (us), or welcome you back? I'm still pondering that one, LOL!
At least here you will have a few others than Ray with whom to commiserate the death of what used to be, and can now also get on with what is still to come.

Wondered how many coal mining towns there were in So Ill, but decided to follow the link and found -

West Frankfort Il.

Sometimes I wish I was back in Mo, but then in Houston, it's only cold maybe 20-30 days a year.  Guess I'll stay south.
