One of many from my boy Tanner Smith at S.P.A.----"Let's dial in that mix so that printing water based inks won't be such a "BUTT PUCKERING EXPERIENCE".  :o

Tanner is king of the one liners.

Another one of Tanner's. Be careful not to have your TV in a hotel up too loud in case you hit a channel that doesn't tune in. Your neighbors will think you are in there watching, "FUZZY PORN".  :P

my point was I wouldn't put in my favorite list of quotes one about Muslims blowing themselves up.  My point was a favorite quote to me shouldn't be something that would tear another person down.

And I am not saying he is wrong for saying that.  My point was that is a lousy "favorite" quote.  It reeks of "I hate" or "I want to tear you down."

I am sorry you see it as hate or wanting to tear something down. I see it is more of a pointing out hypocrisy and the world should be made aware of it. It is a favorite quote of mine because I will always find religion as fed to us by man is a joke that has cost more lives than any disease or war known to man, I also see it as a continuing joke to man kind because it is still causing the deaths of many, ripping people off, and brain washing people.

I have zero issue with people having faith but to have faith and then blindly follow what some dude in a frock tells you to do is a joke.

Just like Gandhi I like Jesus Christ for what he is in principal but I sure hate all those damn christians killing and brain washing in his name.

I felt a little tweaked myself, but got over it. (Forgiveness you know) My particular favorite ascribed to Gandhi is when a reporter asked him what he thought of Western Civilization, he replied "It would be a good idea." (or something similar)

"losers quit when they are tired, winners quit when they are done"

"keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got"

"there's no crying in baseball"

"awww man, who got ink on the toilet seat!?"

"it's just one shirt, how hard can it be?"

"who printed this, Helen Keller?!"

"puff, puff, pass"

"I shaved my balls for this?!"

"Jesus loves you, but I think you're an ashole" . . .

somehow,we use all these daily. . .among others.

Trust me Stefan I have no issue with religion, it is a great thing in principal. My issue comes solely from man and mans use of religion and mans hypocrisy of religion nothing more. I know most catholics and christians and buddhists etc are all good compassionate people, but being religious does not have the market cornered on who can and cant be a compassionate and righteous person. I also have issue with people today not standing up for what they believe in and trying to force a change in these religious organizations. I speak mainly of islamic extremism, it pisses me off that very few muslims speak out against the disgrace these extremists bring upon their religion. It does apply to all religions of course since the beginning religion has been the biggest tool for corruption and war no matter what religion I speak of.

I do like the way the catholic church has been warming to science these past few decades, they have a long way to go but it is a start. BTW I was born a Roman Catholic and served as an altar boy. And if anyone has a priest and gag reflex joke piss off >:(

I was really enjoying the quotes, then it turned into a religious diatribe. Let it go already...

I just recollected this line from a Kipling poem that is not too endearing to our "better halves" but I always thought was fun

"A woman is only a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke"
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

One that Andy's post on the anti/pro-union thread reminded me of-

“Buy land, they're not making it anymore”. Mark Twain
