I say it's a no no, only because they actually created that font style just for them (after) they designed a unique ad on to some letters. Once it took, I am almost positive the protected it as they do with everything else. At the time of creation, they were well aware of trademarks and copyrights of their brand.

Out of curiosity, I've always thought the "Walt Disney" script was Walt's own signature. It's been around forever, it seems. Any light you can shed on that?

It is. Whats used today, is a more vectored cleaned up "artistic" version of his own signature Walt Disney.

First came Disneyland of course and that is in an Old English style font. When they started Walt DisneyWorld, He was near the end. They created the logo more so in his name/honor. He died a few months before it was completed. Then Roy senior took over. He was more of the financial guy. Roy has a son also named Roy E. Disney, Roy Jr. who looks very similar to Walt. I think he died in 2009.  He was a major contributor to ending Michael Eisner's reign. God bless Roy E Disney for that.

I met him in person a few times. He came to our department for several meetings and gave a few some what of a seminar/speech on things. He fancied the art side of things like his uncle. He was Pro artist and very Pro Disney (the traditional method) like Walt fought for with his own brother Roy. Roy was more about business and money where Walt would rather spend more money to make people happy.

Any hoo,  I'm off topic.

here's a simple way of looking at it:

will not printing those shirts potentially kill your business?

will printing those shirts potentially kill your business?

my guess is 99.999% the answer is NO to both of those. In other words, the chances of it saving your business and killing it are the same, so why risk it for a couple hundred bucks . . .

That could be said of almost any order.  I thought someone tried to sue Sam for a problem on an order.  I could be wrong.  Heck, there was some judge that tried to sue a dry cleaner for $67 million for losing his pants.
