Hotronix® recently released a new video that allows decorators to see its new Heat Press Caddie™ in action. This patent-pending stand allows anyone with a Hotronix or Maxx™ clam-shell press to print a wider range of items faster than ever, and this presentation shows you how.
A fast-forward demonstration shows how easy the Heat Press Caddie is to assemble. Once this is done, heavy-duty casters are attached to each leg, which makes the stand completely mobile.
Next, viewers can see how the height can be adjusted to any size worker to make this workstation ergonomic and easier to use. There’s no more bending or reaching so operator fatigue is greatly reduced.
A platen protector sheet is added to the bottom platen and then the real fun begins as a wide range of garments are printed allowing viewers to see the advantages of being able to “thread” a garment (split it at the bottom and only load one layer onto the platen) so that the excess material hangs down. This feature can really make work easier when a garment has buttons, snaps, or zippers as these can hang completely out of the way.
The video shows how easy it is to remove the existing platen and switch it out to a different size to accommodate different garments. An 11-x-15 platen is used to decorate women’s fitted Ts, and an 8-x-10 platen proves to be the perfect size for a canvas briefcase.
If you’re thinking about investing in a Heat Press Caddie, this video will allow you to see all the advantages and answer many of your questions. To view the video, go to
