Bangladesh Garment Factory Fire
« on: November 26, 2012, 11:26:20 AM »
Just read the paper and saw that a Bangladesh Garment Factory Fire claimed 112 lives. They said the factory had major safety violations, what do you expect. I expect prices will go up if they follow the ways of the gasoline pricing

So does this mean that we will not only be getting oil stained shirts from Gildan but there will be the possibilty of getting charred and smoke damaged shirts as well?

There will unfortunately more things like this happening in the future as more and more garment manufacturers are leaving China for countries like Bangladesh were work conditions are even worse. Not that China has the best track record in terms of saftey and workers rights.
