Kiwocol Poly-Plus ER, offered by GSG, is a tack-free, high solids diazo-photopolymer emulsion used to create UV, solvent and plastisol resistant stencils. Its high-solids content creates a smooth stencil while offering a rapid build with few coats. It also is fast drying and easy to reclaim.
It leaves no latent image in the mesh after reclaiming. Often emulsions leave a latent image of the artwork in the mesh, which can cause trouble in subsequent emulsion coatings. In worse cases, it shows up in the subsequent print. With latent images there is no visual stain in the mesh, but when viewed at a 45-degree angle, the design of what was just printed appears.
It has excellent resolution and mesh bridging, which makes it suitable for close tolerance applications and printing fine halftones, lettering, and designs. Its tack-free surface makes it compatible with inkjet film positives. This blue emulsion comes in quart, 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon drums.
