Budweiser Asks Paramount to Remove Beer Images From Film

This is why large company's protect the use of it's intellectual property and imagery. They know a drunk driver can drink any brand, but using it in an example of drunk drying/flying can be damaging to the brand. Mixed feelings on this one?

The image that most alcohol dealers push is almost counter productive in that they rarely push their product as "kick-ass" or "dynamite" as most other drug manufacturers or dealers do.
In that spirit, so to speak, they are trying to distance themselves from the obvious psychoactive properties of their product when shown in a realistic, negative light.

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Darryl

when i was in high school there was a girl that was driving up and down a road over some railroad tracks on a hill, she was trying to get air over and over.  when she finally got air (with a full carload of our classmates) she lost control and smashed into a tree.   her friends admitted to them smoking pot before and during the car ride.  the driver died, but the passengers survived.

yes it is an example of lapse of judgement - going over 60mph in a 30mph zone, she was only 16 - did any of us have 100 percent rational thinking when we were that age?

when i was 15 or 16 i worked at a hardware store with a guy that must have been about 75 or so.  he told me a story about when he was my age and he got into a car with a drunk driver.  the driver passed out and drove off the road into a recently dug cellar for a new house.  my coworker was in the middle seat and flew through the plate glass windsheild - he was in the hospital for about a year - broken bones and cuts from the glass from head to toe. i never let myself get into a situation where i would have to drive after drinking, and i tell my friends to call me if they need a ride.

It's been said that accidents caused by the dirty hippie cabbage are typically from dropping the joint
while driving.

Drinking drivers tend to want to jump the open draw-bridge, race, speed and otherwise prove their bravado.

Pot smoking drivers want to stop at McDonalds, then go home and play Call of Duty.

Both impair your judgment and driving ability, One makes you braver than you normally are, the other the opposite.

Stoned pilots will never crash. It's impossible. They are incapable of reaching take off speed...they'd be taxiing till they ran out of fuel.
