Leveling my diamondback

Hey guys, I have now had my Diamondback XL for a little over a year, and I have known for a long time it was due for leveling.  It has been a little out of level since installation by the M&R tech, he had to do a couple work arounds in leveling the pallets that I fixed this time around with bolts that were 1/4 inch longer.  He questioned the guys at the factory several times during the install as to why the rear leveling bolts were so short but never got an answer.  We drove around locally but the bolts were pretty rare so we made due.  That is not the problem, when I went to level the screen holders to the new pallet level I found the screen holders to not all be bent at 90 degree angles.  The distance between the top and bottom of some of the holders is greater at the open side than at the closed side with the bends, thus the bottom of the screen holder is not parallel to the pallets.  This is creating a problem with the consistency of the off-contact between the roller frames and square bar ez-frames I have in the shop.  The ez-frames end up having more off-contact due to the fact they are resting farther out on the screen holders than rollers.  I wish I could include a diagram but I'm on my iPad.

I don't think I'm being too picky, but maybe I am?  I don't really know if there is anything I can do to rectify the situation, I guess the bent steel is a money saver on the diamondback over an extrusion that would be more consistent and parallel. 

Well I don't know if I Had a question in there or if this is just me venting to people who know enough about what I'm talking about to care, but if anybody can think of anything that helps I'm all ears.  Thanks.

Just my opinion but sounds like something maybe out of plane beyond pallets and screen holders. May have to go back to square one and get the press, print heads and pallet arms level and centered then do pallets and screen holders.

Nah, what he is saying is the screen holders aren't 90 degree angles, so a round frame is making contact in a different spot from a square frame, and that spot is lower due to the angle.  My on the cheap suggestion would be to use some kind of shim, like stripes of 1/8 (or whatever thickness would make them sit at the same height) aluminum from home depot when using round frames.  Obviously this isn't ideal, but it should work.

It sounds like the manual clamps are being over tightened and that is bending the metal. The manual clamps are not for normal operation. Send me your phone number and I will call to discuss. The screen clamps leave the factory at a 90 degree.

When I got in this morning, I remeasured the screen holders to make sure my statement was correct, and they do seem to be bent correctly. I was not the one that took the original measurement and I apologize for speaking too soon.

I never use the manual clamps so I knew nothing could have happened with that.  That did not change the fact that the right screen holder on head 1 was not parallel to everything and was sitting at an angle.  I attached a quick diagram.
I then checked the other heads and it was like that to varying degrees on a few of the heads but nothing was as bad as the first head.  So I loosened that screen holder and put a little inward pressure on the holder as I re-tightened it and bam that did the trick.  I'm on to adjusting the other holders and I should be up and running soon.

Rich, thank you for the availability to help out but I didn't want to waste your time before I went through everything again and was sure all my ducks were in a row.
