Freezing in New Orleans Today

Dang, it's gotta be in the mid 50's today!

I'd hate to be a northerner-printer dealing with cold weather and ink viscosity.  Stop imposing your freaking weather on me, Yankees.

I used to hate that cold snap in the morning down there. We would leave the apartment and it would be 50 and by 11:00 it would be high 70's or 80's. Lost so many long sleeve and sweet shirts as we would be stripping layers as the day went by.

I switched to shoes and jeans a few weeks ago, and am changing back. Pretty nice here, in the '70's but rain forecast later this week

There seems to be a bit of a problem lately in the season staging area. Like pulling a pinch hitter back at the last second. I don't care what the corporate apologists and non-scientific bible nuts say, there is definitely a major change in the climate, and even if our industrialization did not cause it, it seems to be hastening it.

And yes, I'm sorry, and I do  realize that any real discussion on this should probably be in the cage.

Andy, just shut it about the weather... we know where you live.  I don't mean that in the threatening sense but in the sense that the weather is always awesome out there.

Worse thing about your weather is at night if you go out you might need a light jacket.

Come deal with the pressure cooker we call louisiana and the mosquitoes!  :p

I've been more times than I can count... a light jacket is all I've ever needed.

I have 2 brothers (used to be 3) that live there.  Their "heat wave" consisted of my brother complaining that it was getting over 80 degrees in his house and he didn't have an air conditioner!  That's where I set my thermostat when I lived alone!  BTW,  Not one car is sold without AC down here... can't remember a single one ever being sold in my life time... yet that is an "option" out there!

It will be 91 degrees and sunny today. I still run my A/C in my car.
