Had to share this amazing photo opportunity

Many have seen my spider pics on occasions. Here is one awesome pic. Timing is everything.
I have video also, but it does not move much (for a video) yet you can see the pulsating sucking motion by way of the lifeless lizard body raising up an down. I had to re-locate that booger tho. Couldn't keep that thing around the house.
Notice the measurement, I took a measuring tape to check the size of the vinyl siding just next to that location and compare to the spider pic. The thing is, it is about another 5" closer than where the siding begins, so that 5" mark should have actually been enlarged by maybe 3% or so (as it comes closer to you). So the bottom of the 5" mark may have been about 1/16th " larger closer to his bottom leg.
This is THE largest I've seen here in Fl. Something is in the water or the food chain. Sheeesh.

Yeah, you put that on Facebook and made me cry, now it's here?
As much as a tree-hugging nature lover as I am, I'd kill the hell out of that with chemicals and bird shot.
Seriously though, WAY COOL.

I wish we had that sucker in our parts, I would get a small tank for one or two as pets, feeding time would be better than TV

That is F'ing awesome Dan!
I agree, I wish we had those guys around our parts.
The best we have is semi-large banana spiders and every now and then you can find a pretty big wolf spider (like 2" at best).

I'm fascinated by spiders, but in the wrong place at home, they die immediately.

It's a shame I think the biggest spider we have up here is either the wolf or the crossed orb weaver, both about the size of a half dollar.
