Corel Color Pallet Question
« on: September 27, 2012, 11:45:28 AM »
I taught myself Corel from the Freshener tutorial CD's there they instructed the use of Spot / Pantone / version 8 color pallet. What is the best pallet to use or does it make a difference.

I use the Pantone palette as it gives me true spot colors rather than rgb or cymk "mixes"
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

The Corel Version 8 Pantone colors are the ones that almost all mixing systems will be able to do. If you go to the newer ones then Wilflex etc will have trouble.

I don't know how old the tutes are, but there was a time that many went back to v8 colors just because it had the printable transparent white that was left out for a few versions later.
