Yuck, sleeves.  Nice job though, you gonna do that on a manual press?  What color shirts?

My biggest single order was for 2k on a manual last year. I couldn't fathom doing a 1,200 5/1 color print on my manual. Would be painful!

My biggest ever on my manual was a 1200 2/2 order.  I was sore for a week afterward.

My biggest manual, was 1440 black shirts, 5 color one side, dont remember what was the front. Stone Cold Steve Austin Monster truck shirts. It hurt. There was three of us printing. Took 3 days.

Why do you guys hate sleeves?  If long sleeves I hate em but short sleeves are easier to me than anywhere else on the shirt.

I once did 2500 3 color/1 color by myself manually in a pinch after our first auto broke down.

The good thing...White Tees!!!!  I don't think I have to flash anything.

also since I have a jennings manual (i do need an auto) the way the sleeve platens are there is one on each side of the arm coming out from the press...

soooo...i'm pretty sure I can do both sleeves with one print stroke and be done instead of doing 1 sleeve first and then starting all over and printing the other one...

its still going to kick my ass....

it's for the minor league baseball team...

This past February was 1740, white on navy, front and back, p/f/p. It sucked. The same job last year was royal blue on golden yellow, front, back, and one sleeve. I set up a sleeve platen, printed the sleeve, took it off and threw it on a table, and after I printed the next sleeve and it was flashing I printed the front of the first sleeve shirt then sent it through the dryer with the sleeve print up to hit them both for a final cure. Kept going around like that. Saved me from sending the whole job through the dryer three times, but I charged 'em for it anyhoo.

That's why we charge more for them, but sleeve plates on an auto help a lot. Congrats on the big job though, getting paid is the good part, because your arms are going to ache. I printed 400 6-color fronts once manually, tiring, but it got done and billed.

Loading both sleeves at the same time might take you longer than doing one at a time. Imagine when you have to take them off and place on the oven you have to be very careful of the wet print. But you could always load two shirts on at the same time.
