Pressure marks on Navy Sweats

Anyone ever had this problem? I printed 60-70 Navy Sweats and there is a square box around the image. It is not ink or anything you can knock out but from the pressure of the squeegee. Now they want me to replace them.

first off...too much pressure and too much heat...that is what caused it... secondly...say ok have them bring them all in and steam them out....they are just pressure marks like embroidery gets when they have too tight of a hoop...simple fix...

yup, either steam them out, spray them with magic sizing, or spritz them with water and run through the oven.

I took one home and washed it and it did not help. Should it have taken it out?

yes, it should have, i can see why they would be pissed about that.

I would try steaming them.

Hi Sam,
Got my diamondback rolling, awesome machine!
Yesterday I printed some skorts (skirts with shorts in them).  Just printed a 1-color PFP.  I used sleeve pallets and had pressure marks as well.  I took down my pressure super low, but maybe too long of a flash.  Had it at like 8 seconds I believe.  Is that my problem?

i would flash at about 4 seconds maybe 3...8 is way to looooooonnnnngggggg  you are getting them too hot

Sharp edges on your pallets (platens, boards) don't help. Round them if needed.

I think that Tony was referring to rounding the corners of the blade, but also, a blade shorter than the width of the board will help as well.

Thats right Andy thanks for clarifying. I always recommend buying a cheap bench grinder for this. I f've found that those clever little clippers don't hold up and are more expensive than they are worth.

Didn't think of it.  I'll try this as well!  My pallets are all spanking new with crisp sharp edges!
