Steven Jackson, sales and education representative for Imprintables Warehouse, recently started a weekly video series entitled “Training Time Out.” It will include a wide range of topics on how to use your Roland VersaCAMM printer/cutter and software to create professional heat-applied transfers for apparel and pressure-sensitive decals for signage and hard goods.

“Modifying Profiles in Versaworks” is 11 minutes and walks the viewer through the process of managing profiles and understanding how to adjust the settings to make the workflow easier. It covers how to adjust an existing profile; how to use Media Explorer; and how to set the printer controls, print quality, media type, and color management.

You also learn how to create your own profile if an existing one does not match the material being used. A sample job on glossy calendered vinyl is demonstrated and allows the viewer to better understand the complete process from start to finish.

To view the video, you can go to www.myversacamm.com and click on “Videos” or go to http://myversacamm.com/video/modifying-profiles-in-versaworks.
