I started on a Filbar way back, and we still have one now. It runs once a year. If you don't go UV, the solvent inks will get to be a pain. We used to do lots of signage for local sign shops when their customers needed election signs, but that business dried up completely a few years ago when sign shops started inkjetting. Plus supercheapsigns.com sell for dealer cost to people off the street, so now it's just a table. It's smelly, you'll absolutely hate it when the humidity is high, etc., etc., etc. On the other hand, they are hard working machines. We made one print t-shirts 2 up back around 1980, it made us the money to buy our first real auto, a Precision Oval. They were built by Graphic Equipment Corp. in Boston, long gone now.
