Quart Size Containers for Mixing?
« on: June 08, 2012, 11:06:58 PM »
Where do you guys get your quart and gallon containers to mix inks in?  I believe our supplier, whose containers I'd like to use, were a bit pricey.  So, we have been using some quart containers from walmart, but they have curves in them and they aren't as tall and as cylindrically shaped as I'd like.  Where do you guys get yours for both quarts and gallons?  How much? etc.?  With many of you having ink mixing systems, I'm imagining this is an expense you try to keep under control?

Thanks.

TW Graphics, ink mfg's in Commerce, CA.  They make some very fine WB flatstock inks.  We run the 5500 series, flat finish.  They make plastisols too but never tried them out.

These quart sized work well and come with lids. We also get our mixing spatualas and other ink management supples from them.

The one gallon pails I get from Sherwin Williams or US Plastics.

If you are looking for black containers try UV Supply.
