anyone have a cheap chiller they can spare?
« on: June 23, 2012, 02:08:25 AM »
My cheap chiller just took a dump, I'm gonna crack into it and see if I can fix it as I can't afford a new one. Any got one you want to give up? or anyone know what I need to test or look for when I break it open? Its getting power but I don't hear the refrigeration system running. This thing could have not been working for at least a month. I took a look at it the other day and the temp was over 100 degrees!

I haven't ever really looked at one closely but if you or you have a buddy that can do AC work then it might be easily serviceable.

I'd think if it doesn't make any noise anymore, the compressor would be the place to start.
