Well maybe not the best ever, but if you do a lot of heat pressing, these things are GREAT!

The benefit of making the top platen into a teflon sheet is priceless.  I am always misplacing ours.  Also what it nice is if you press a ton of shirts it prevents the moisture from going up inside the cover over the heat element and dripping back down after it's discolored.

I just got a pad for the bottom too so that its easier to pull shirts on and off.

The upper I have on the press now has been there for about 6 years.  It's starting to come unstitched so I bought a replacement just in case.

Looks like a good deal to me. I very rarely get to do any ACTUAL work up front, but the gals who do, would like this trinket.

yeah, it probably is, but i have used the last one for over 6 years, so really it's not saving a ton per year given the homemade version lasts just as long.
