MIdwest Sign's Prices for inks

Anybody here use Midwest for there inks, union or wilflex and notice prices have gone up more and more. and no dicker room, if find at another place. Is it just me???
Example : Diamond White Gal - $107.34 Midwest Sign
                Diamond White Gal - 66.78 Valley Litho Supply

Problem is I am in Colorado almost Utah. So take 3-4 days to get here.

This ink is almost perfect!! It cost 36 a gallon or 180.00 for 5 gallons

ask Brian from Middletown Ink...

Black Ink is 132.50 a 5 gallon.

Not only high prices for us small guys, but a real lack of product. I have to look into whether it's a Union problem, or theirs, but I could not get two needed colors for my Mixopake system, and I was forced to hustle up Wilflex PC ingredients from a buddy for a needed two colors.

Pushing, welcome.  Your post doesn't address the OP's issue of Midwest, but Lord knows everyone is still searching for the perfect white ink(s)

Not much anymore.  It's too bad too, there are some great people there.  Frog nailed it on the head, they have crappy prices on everything, and no availability to back those prices up.

Three years in a row needled the rep about their insane prices, and got the same song and dance about looking into it with absolutely no follow-up...don't have to worry about that anymore, buddy.

My guess is wanting a departure from traditional screen printing and focusing on digital..

This will come back to haunt you.
