My problem is the One Stroke gold is not blowing out well I even got some acetone to try and same thing..... If it blowed out well I would be ok

There are a lot of inks that do not blow out well. Yellow is one of them for me also. I really think the only way to salvage the shirts is to over print the letter. Is this a left chest print? Or is a full back? I have seen people over print like in the example that I posted above. If it’s a left chest you could do a full over print circle then print the design on top of the circle. I personally would not want to blow out 650 shirts. I would try an over print.

Im late to the party here...

but I stretch the area to be blown out over a plastic cup so just the letter is over the opening and it will work...I did 25 mesh baseball jerseys this way...

spelled 'Defreestville' wrong, i messed up the s and the t...and I reprinted the right letters....dude it will work, when you get in the rythm of putting the shirt on and sort of where to place it it gets faster...just use one of the techniques someone mentioned from above...

There is another potential problem with major "blowouts". The liquid that wicks into the surrounding print area can affect the plastisizers in that ink, rendering them more brittle and prone to cracking.
So the time bowing out, health risk(minimized in your case with the vacuum), cost of actual fluid, time lining up and re-printing could all be for nothing if the final product is not up to snuff.
I'd suggest blowing a few out, checking the stretchability of the surrounding area, washing one, checking again, before proceeding with a "remove and re-print fix.
Replacing 650 shirts is not a pleasant thing, but could actually be the cheapest solution.

If your willing to do a two color repair then you can create a large arced banner that easily covers the whole text print that in the same GY then print your text on top in another color. Even if you miss a little and it hits your swords it will not look bad.

It is a full back so I have the play and the letters are rough so if it is off just a little not a biggy. I blowed a few of the "t" hooks at the bottom and it done pretty good but I still hate to blow out all the shirts and really hate to replace them. Still thinking of something I could attach to hide the t and print anothe r. I don't know my mind is going a hundred miles an hour and I know each of you have had something like this happen to you so I know I am preaching to the choir.

yup.  been there, done that.

back in the late 80's we had a bad one that needed a full over print.  I seriously do not know how thick that ink was, but it was bad...really bad.  Customer liked them though and they stayed a customer until 2006 when the manager left and the new contact had his own buddy he liked to use.

Its less stressful to just replace them and chalk it up to a learning experience on proofing the design upon the first strike off. There is a pretty good chance that your repair is going to look like sh!t and  have 650 examples of that floating around in the world. That can cost you a lot more in the long run then replacing the shirts.

Like Frog stated you are going to get spot fluid soaking into the other surrounding letter and compromise the integrity of the ink. If that happens now not only did you waste the time doing a bandaid but now you have to reprint the order again on top of that because the surrounding ink came off.

If you replace them you also will end up with a huge amount of test shirts to print on and an immense amount of rags, don't know about you but in our shop those two things are commodities.

I don't need that many test shirts lol..... with my vac system no fluid is getting to the other part of the design so that will not be an issue and 15$ of fluid is cheaper than 650 shirts and I guess my labor is free :( that comes with being the owner.

True.  But you seem to be putting a lot of time and effort into something that in all likely hood is going to have a substandard result.

Personally, I would overprint the whole thing, or bite the bullet and reprint, with a strong inclination toward the reprint.  Overprinting has the benefit of being cost effective, but it is going to make one thick print.

Sometimes mistakes are costly.

Your time is money. As the owner you are the most valuable therefore the most expensive out of all the employees. Labor is never free no matter what position you have in the company.

Scott, dam hate to here that but have you tried to blow out the letter with the vac off and then turn the vac on.  We do this because with the vac on it sucks the fluid away to fast before it can  break up the ink and it leaves a bad stain.  Hey you can try it that way and see...hit it with the blow out gun then turn on your vac.

No labor is not free but if the company loses then I lose so I know it is not free but it is what it is. Sent this to my customer (long time customer) and he is good with it. I have already printed 120 this afternoon since I have been off the computer so I think I will make it. Thks so much for those of you who had an idea on helping me on this doom and gloom project. I know it is not the best art work but if he is happy then I am and I don't think the kids will ever know the difference. It was a strange shirt anyway full back only ?
