Parts washer/Recirculating system

Hey, just curious what you might be using these days for a parts washer and if any have a recirculating system for chemicals.

I know smart washer was the belle of the ball a few years back, but the amount fluid it uses and the film I heard it leaves made it go out of favor.

Will probably DIY something cause of budget but we really need to step it up.

any info is appreciated!

we've been using an automatic aqueous parts washer https://www.crystal-clean.com/product/model-2725/ for cleaning our squeegees and flood bars, and it's awesome.

Someone posted this on one of the FB groups, and we tracked it down, and jumped on the chance to grab one. It's sped up our reclaim and reclaim process immensly.

it's not that crazy. i think it's like $300/mo. And the chemical company takes care of all the chemical disposal and replenishing.

What chems are you running in it? We have a Zentner "dishwasher" on the way.

part of the deal is that the company who is leasing it, supplies the chems. they have a screen printing division, and are using something suitable for HSA/DC.

I have seen some really negative feed back on the CRC unit, mainly it is just not solid enough nor well enough made to handle a shops work load.

ALSO, SW chems are really expensive.

$113 / 5 gallons, I don't think it's that bad, but I guess there is room for cheaper chems.  This is with SW-1.

I took a food tray, drilled a hole through it and connected it to the corner of cleaning sink which also had a hole drilled into it. (Both Stainless steel)
I have a simple pump that I fitted into a empty emulsion bucket and the chemical circulates coming out through a tap with a adjustable
pipe that is normally used in metal work.
I use Saati ink remover diluted 1:4.   IR26.    Same chemical that I use for cleaning the screens.
The last pump I had lasted about 6 years.     The chemicals eventually eat away at the metal parts.
I try to remove excess Plastisol with a rag before cleaning in this unit, the chemicals last a lot longer this way.
I can't think of a cheaper system and it works well cleaning squeegees and flood bars.
