Finally found an afternoon to put together my 'concept' newman tensioning jig.
And holy smokes does it work freakin awesome.
Whoo! Yay! Happy Dance.
Except..wait a minute here..
Uh oh...well f*ck me sideways, the damn base is warped.

Oh well, proof of concept..proved.
Guess I'll build it all over again.

Should say thanks to whoever posted a pic entitled 'newman third arm' some time back
as the clamps used there became the genesis of the project, I can't seem to find that thread..
