Ebay and selling your artwork question
« on: April 30, 2012, 07:27:04 PM »
Hey guys,
Have any of you sold any of your artwork on Ebay?  If so any success?  Also, is it better to auction it off or fixed price??
THANKS in advance!!

Are you talking about fine art or t-shirt art ready to go stuff? I would think a fixed price would be the way to go but I have no experience with ebay other than a shirt line that did nothing but it was really just a test.

It is for fine artwork....oil paintings, drawings etc...
I am selling a bunch of my artwork and posted some at Fine Art America but someone told me they sold more on Ebay and quicker soooo  I am trying that too but wasn't sure which was the better way to sell.  I did some reading since this post and found that I can auction 50 items in a month for free, if you do a fixed price it is .50 cents each.  I am a penny pincher so I guess I will do the most auction style and a few of the best with a fixed price.
I attached an example of something I plan on selling.
