I used to paste screen caps into photoshop all the time using prtscn then ctrl-v did they ditch that some how?

I'm confused. 

I thought we were talking about the ability to "capture" an image from your screen, like a Web Site Image.  How can you pick up an image from the "scratchpad" to Adobe or Corel?  It's Friday.  I must have missed something.

Well, I'll be.  You can CTRL + V into Corel.  In that case, why was it a problem in the first place?
