Presently

IC Softhand base (my go-to additive for making stiff whites a little more friendly, and, of course, to soften color inks)
IC Stretch (for obvious stretch materials, and when high school girls order way too small)
IC dulling and suede (have only intentionally used it as a dulling aid. In larger quantities, it produces a suede-like finish)
IC Nylon Bonding Catalyst
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

lotsa stuff on the shelf, but not much of it gets used. We try to keep the inks without additives so it makes it easier to repeat the jobs. I think in the last 6 months all we used was reducer, extender and maybe some puff.

We ran out recently and had to order some so the list will be:
flow additive
reducer
three different kinds of bases/extenders (process, soft and regular),
nylonbond,
stretch additive,
transfer additive.

So other than different bases, same stuff as everybody else . . .

All of the above and now Flame Retardant! Cool that it makes the ink print like a hot knife through cold butter

Fashion base-so far it's ok, added some to a black ink and it made it extremely bad for wet on wet, maybe it was the ink and the fashion base didn't make it worse, but I expected it to make it better for wow printing.
Softee base-meh, doesn't much help for wow printing, but it will cut a bad ink into something usable.
Wet on Wet Base-great stuff so far, I'll be buying more of this product.
Curable Reducer-I'd rather use other additives but it does the job
Soft Hand Clear-Seems to reduce opacity more than other additives, don't use it much anymore
Thickener-rarely used but comes in handy once or twice a year

I think that's about it.  I will be adding some HD clear soon, next tough sim process job I'll have a gallon on hand to mix in our ink.

Alan, where are you getting your wow base?  I tried my QCM source and they aren't making it anymore so I'm looking for another brand.

It is qcm wow base, I got it from Lee's Supply in Houston.  Damnit, shouldn't have told you because when they run out, I'm screwed.  I had no idea they weren't making it anymore, I hope someone has something similar or they are replacing it with something.  It's basically the only additive I've found to significantly decrease the buildup of an ink.  Some do a marginal job and most make it worse.

Exactly what I told my rep.  We played a back and forth game where she would call "QCM"/Rutland I guess and ask questions.  They'd recommend softee base as a wow additive, I would say, "no that doesn't help at all", she'd go back to them and ask again.  I referenced a thread here where Colin himself said softee wasn't intended to modify for wow, I get silence on the other end of the phone lol.

hey Shelly, I have been using this, just bought a 5G of it last week. Seems to work really well. Similar to Wilflex's Finesse base, hence the name...
