'Substantial' is an understatement. When I pulled that first strike I was highly confused. I mean, take a look at this pic attached, it's like neon pastels up in there. The approved print I attached above was the same inks, just more pigment. I think the main thing was the transparency of the inks. I can't believe that's where they set the standard book formulas for the PC system. I'll be sure to only use the "min. base" amounts from here to eternity and add base back as desired or able (to conserve on PCs). I do believe I'm getting more vibrant color via the PC system on this job however which is nice.
fwiw, Dan you do a really good job of stacking up just enough ink on the seps. These are about as soft as they can be without being fibrilation-prone.
