We have the Twins in tomorrow (for my $2 Wednesday A's game)
I'm sure that they will observe a moment of silence and respect.

Very sad here in Minnesota. Even the younger fans like him.

Teenage boys in Texas in the 90's didn't know what kind of a ballplayer he was, most of us had never heard of him but I read a few things about him later on when several active players were passing him on the list and I finally got to realize his greatness.  One of the greatest mashers of all time, and a pretty good man to go along with it.

Breaking a nine game losing streak. 2-1 on the same day is kinda' cool as well.
Perhaps one of those intangibles we hear about in this game of inches.
