Ink smears on film

I have noticed it more with the cheap non WP film in currently running but it happens on both

 A common problem, if you can call it a problem, we've never had it interfere with the image, and it's pretty rare. We use WP film.

Take a paper towel and soak up the ink off the wiper. Its building up and transferring to the film.
