What is Pantone Black M?
« on: March 09, 2012, 04:04:06 PM »
I have a customer's design in which I am trying to find and replace some different blacks to all be the same, and came across this one.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Gerry beat me to it. It's interesting to know that for Intaglio printing there are more than eight blacks offered.

Yep, I have the palette, just never been sent a matte Pantone before, so I never needed it, and didn't recognize the designation, and took the easy way out. ;D

Quite the contrary, in fact, we graphic art program users, like some of our more extremely Afro-centric friends find, that some blacks are not really true blacks at all when examined closely!
