Where can I get a refurbished Epson 3000 these days? Apparently the most reliable printer out there, right?

most reliable is debatable, but they are workhorses and they aren't that expensive.  You might be better off with a 1400 if you don't need 17" wide output.

I would also check out the 4800, it's got an autocutter.

I still prefer dye based inks though....but I do use a hybrid...
