Xante ScreenWriter 5

Back in the days I used to work with a ScreenWriter 2 to output film positives. The results were real good apart from the occasional set of films not lining up 100%.
Just wondering if Xante have managed to get this problem under control with the later versions like the ScreenWriter 4 or 5. Anyone here using either of these 2 printers?
My Epson Stylus 4000 is killing me, clogged print head, error messages etc. And that baby has been refurbished twice by now. Only the chassis is still the same. We even run an all black ink system and had all the ink tubes flushed before installing the new all black cartridges.

 I have a 4 that I use as a paperweight/dust collector. Any time you use any kind of thermal
laserjet system, there will be issues with paper shrinkage. The only advantage I ever saw
was the built in RIP. I use a 3000 now and have for the last 8 years. NEVER a problem with
films lining up. I once had an Agfa image setter and still would occasionally have slight problems
with films not lining up (at the time we were doing pretty large 12-13 color films).

i have either used daily or kept a 3 or 4 as a backup for years. using the oem myriad film always lined up great.the issue is getting the image dark enough to NOT have to spray it with toner aid. thats where the registration problems start.
