Rejected then not rejected...by me.
« on: February 19, 2012, 09:36:10 AM »
So I printed some shirts a few weeks ago. 2 color on black with ub. I had three shirts that at the time I set aside and did not give to the customer because there was a slight registration issue with the red over the ub.
A few weeks later I look at those same shirts and I can't see why they were rejected by me.  A little time away from a print job makes a world of difference.  Sometimes I wonder if we reject stuff waaaay to soon on stuff that the customer wouldn't even notice anyway.
I think we see stuff the customer wouldn't even notice because we know where to look.

Yup, but I figure if I'd let it go through, I'd be worrying if someone was pissed with the shirt they got. Even though we "know where to look" I always put myself in the customer's seat and think, would I wonder why I got the shirt that was "off" when everyone else got one that wasn't?

I wouldn't wear half of the crap my customers want.  I have also grown to dislike wearing t-shirts.

I have become my father.

I'm just the opposite. It's gotten to the point to where if I can't wear a t-shirt somewhere, I didn't want to go there that much anyway. Then again, I'm older than you and convenience is my new mistress . . .

It is interesting how the "crap" people have us print looks awesome to them. People are so tickled and proud to see their stuff on a t-shirt.
