That looks really good.

Is it soft hand?  My experience with Union Plasticharge is has to be washed before it gets soft.

ah, my bad.  You said that in the post.

110 mesh?  Union rep told me -

"Mesh between 156 and 180 - too low of a mesh will be too much ink content and will not let the oxidizing process complete properly leaving the print muted and not bright".

May not apply for CCI.

That pic is fresh out the dryer, after a wash its similar to yours. I used a 156 with 5% activator and a double stroke.

Since you say that's a Gray Blue Plastisol, did you discharge under it?

no it was just one hit on a 156. I have used the discharge white as an underbase but the hand is heavy. Next time I am going to try a mixture of white and base for an underbase to see if it improves the hand. Hopefully when CCI comes out with pigments it will work well. I seen a red discharge print from my CCI rep and it was pretty good, not super bright but not bad. I have some Sericol I will be testing next week as well. I would like to become more of a waterbased shop because not many do it around here, it may be our hot summers though.

Hey everyone.
We're interested in trying the CCI White & Base. Does anyone know of a distributor here in California?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Well, damn! According to Gildan's dischargable rating guide, their purple shirts "aren't recommended" for discharge. I print the shop shirts for an old offset printing buddy of mine whose shirts are purple, and it'd be a lot easier job to print discharge, but I never did for fear the results would be like royal blue shirts.
Maybe Gildan has changed some of their dyes? That's a nice bright print, by the way.
